Tim's video won the first phase of the Acer Timeline Video Contest after promoting the contest and getting over 20,000 views on the site.

He didn't do it without some challenges, though. Someone, possibly a disgruntled contestant, put in a bogus complaint to YouTube that the video infringed on copyrights, and it was pulled from the site pending an investigation. So if some of you are wondering why this video disappeared from the site a few days ago, that's what happened. Despite this setback, "ACER 8 SAVES THE WORLD" was so popular that it still managed to win Phase One; even after being off the site and unviewable for almost a week, it still beat the other entries hands down!

After conducting our own investigation we've concluded that "ACER 8 SAVES THE WORLD" and all of its content are completely original, and the claims made against it by an envious contestant are absolutely unfounded.

To prevent this unsportsmanlike conduct from ever happening again, we're adding a Contest Rule stating that making unsubstantiated claims against a fellow contestant can result in serious consequences, and possibly disqualification.
